About Me
Andrew Martin, founder and director of AMA | Fertility Law, is an admitted practising attorney who has been working in the field of assisted reproduction and family law since graduating from the University of Cape Town in 2007.
Since being admitted as an attorney in 2010, Andrew has gained extensive experience in drafting and negotiating Surrogacy Contracts (and bringing the necessary High Court application), Egg Donation, Sperm Donation and Embryo Donation Contracts.
Most recently, AMA | Fertility Law, under Andrew’s guidance, is the first legal consultancy to offer clients the option of Embryo and Gamete Disposition Agreements. These agreements help to regulate what happens to clients’ embryos/gametes in the unfortunate event of death, divorce, separation, incapacitation, disagreement, etc.
